Oasi del buon Gesù - L'Olio Extravergine di Olive con Arance Bio

Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Oranges is obtained by simultaneously pressing freshly picked olives and organic Navel oranges: 2 parts of three olives and 1 part of three oranges.

Thanks to this process, the extra virgin olive oil is enriched with the flavor and properties of the oils present in the orange peel: the precious essential oils, particularly aromatic, of oranges, give a pleasant and unmistakable flavor.

The result is a product of excellent quality, which manages to surprise even the most demanding palates with its specific personality.

Used sparingly, it gives dishes an original and rare touch capable of enhancing the flavor of each course.

 

Harvesting Method:  hand-picking of organic products.

Extraction Method: continuous cold cycle in an organic mill.

The aroma

is strong and enveloping to the nose, it is equipped with strong hints of fresh orange just picked from the plant.

The flavor

In the mouth the spicy bitterness of the oil and the orange flavor appear decisive and pleasant; broad in character, it has a high fragrance and quality.

Good and pleasant harmony between nose and mouth.

Use in the Kitchen

It is recommended raw to flavor risottos, legumes, roasts and grilled meat.

Suitable for smoked fish (salmon and swordfish), shellfish, seafood, beef carpaccio.

Excellent in cooked and raw vegetables, radicchio or fennel salads with black olives.

Interesting in marinating fish and game (editor's note: duck with orange), it is also useful in the preparation of sauces and desserts, especially with dark chocolate.

Extra Virgin

Olive Oil

is proudly organic, meaning the two raw materials (olives and oranges) as well as the processing/extraction equipment have achieved organic certification. To obtain less than 30 liters of orange oil, 200 kg of olives (tondino spezzanese) processed together with 100 kg of oranges (Navel Vecchio Clone Risanato) are needed.

 

Despite the constraints imposed by bureaucracy on labeling, our “Condiment based on extra virgin olive oil with oranges” has nothing to do with other “Condiments based on extra virgin olive oil with oranges”, too many of which are made with flavorings (sometimes not even natural) and not with the fruit.
