We were born in March 2020, buying little by little, from different owners, just over 2 hectares of land cultivated with citrus fruits, mostly oranges and then clementines, tangerines, lemons and olives.
We immediately entrusted ourselves to an expert agronomist and chose the organic route, applying the minimum tillage of the land to preserve its fertility: the criterion of green manure, the introduction of bees and the absolute ban on any pesticide.
It took three years of observation and control to convert the land and production from traditional to organic.
From January 2023, “Oasi del Buon Gesù” is certified by “Bioagricert”, leader in Italy in the certification of organic and quality agri-food products.
Bioagricert has verified, and and from year to year it checks, compliance with current legislation and therefore guarantees that products and processes comply with production, transformation and marketing requirements.
